In the summer of last year, the official announcement of the intention to produce one came from the top of Square Enix animated series dedicated to Final Fantasy IX.
The project, entrusted to the hands of the French professionals of Cyber Group Studios, later disappeared from the radar, in a press blackout that lasted for about a year. Now, however, it seems that the time has come to finally find out more. To confirm it is Bruno Danzel d’AumontVice President of the Parisian animation studio.
During an interview granted to Animation Magazinethe manager has in fact confirmed that soon the public will be able to get a first taste of the Final Fantasy IX animated series. The latter will in fact be presented on the occasion of the Licensing Expo 2022 of Las Vegas, scheduled between Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 May 2022. Within a few days, therefore, lovers of the imagery of the Square Enix masterpiece will be able to discover how Cyber Group Studios intends to give shape to the epic of Vivi, Gidan and Garnet.
Recall that the target of the animated series will mainly be an audience of very young people, in a range between approximately 8 and 13 years. Waiting to learn more, it is impossible not to think about the growing rumors about Final Fantasy IX Remake, back to racing after the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 4.
