Following the announcement of the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica, Motorola has officially confirmed the development of the world’s first flagship smartphone with a 200 MP camera, and revealed the release date.
Apparently, we are talking about the Motorola Frontier model, which previously managed to light up on the Web. The promotional poster teases the 200MP camera sensor as “a new benchmark in image quality.”
The alleged Motorola Frontier will feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor with support for 8K video recording at 30fps.
According to rumors, the smartphone will be equipped with a curved 6.67-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a 60 MP selfie camera, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory, as well as a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh with 125W fast charging support.
The official presentation of the world’s first smartphone with a 200 megapixel camera is expected in July.
