OPPO today announced in China its new line of mid-range smartphones OPPO Reno 8. This presentation revealed three new Android devices, with special emphasis on the reveal of the OPPO Reno 8 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
Indeed, this is the first smartphone launched with the brand new mid-range/high-end processor unveiled by Qualcomm. A long-awaited processor that only unveiled at the end of last week.
OPPO Reno 8 is the new mid-range line to take into account in 2022
OPPO’s three new smartphones share a design with each other, with a more angular look popular with Apple’s iPhones. In fact, we have three new devices with a robust and contemporary design that will certainly please users.
All models arrive with a glass back only interrupted by the module for its rear camera. This is composed of three sensors arranged according to the standards used by Chinese technology.
OPPO Reno 8 Pro is the world’s first with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1
It was in this model that OPPO applied the seal of “first in the world” with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. A market debut with special credit for the popularity of this smartphone in such a vast universe.
In addition, we have a screen AMOLED with 6.43 inches of diagonal and a resolution Full HD+. Its refresh rate is in the 120 Hz like the vast majority of Android smartphones released in recent months.

To complete the trio of Android smartphones we have the OPPO Reno 8 and the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+. The first has the same diagonal as the Pro model, with a difference in its refresh rate of just 90 Hz.
The second model, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+, arrives with a 6.7 inches diagonal and the same resolution. Your image refresh rate goes up to the 120 Hz.
In the camera, we see an OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ with the same set as its aforementioned brother. However, the OPPO Reno 8 will be distinguished by its secondary lens of only 2MP.
The processors of these base models will also be different from the model mentioned above. Indeed, the OPPO Reno 8 arrives with a Dimension 1300while the OPPO Reno 8 Pro features a Dimension 8100-MAX.
All models in the OPPO Reno 8 range feature up to 12 GB of RAM and even 256 GB of storage internal. Note also for the presence of the chip MariSilicon X proprietary, introduced in the top-end Find X5 line, with responsibility for photographic processing.

The mentioned values result from a direct conversion of the prices announced by OPPO for China. We still don’t know when the OPPO Reno 8 line will arrive in Europe, but the figures are likely to be higher.
