New series “Kinopoisk” entitled “Patient Zero” over the first weekend bypassed the indicators of other projects of the service.
The plot of the show of seven episodes tells about the first major outbreak of HIV in the USSR, which occurred in 1988. The young doctor begins to suspect that some of his patients have contracted this disease, but he still needs to prove his case to the leadership.
In the first couple of days after the premiere, the series was rated by more than 380 thousand Plus subscribers, and as a result, it outperformed “Pishchebloka” and “Eterns”, which were also in demand among users. In addition, the show took the sixth position in the top films and series of the service.
The main roles in the project are played by Nikita Efremov, Askar Ilyasov, Evgeny Stychkin, Pavel Maykov and others, and new episodes will be released every Thursday until June 23rd.
