Tchia returns to show itself in video just a short distance from the announcement of its postponement to 2023, which however allows us to see something more about the gameplay of this interesting title, in particular as regards themarine exploration.
As we have seen, Tchia has recently been postponed to 2023, as the Awaceb team needs more time to finish the works. This is quite understandable if you consider that it is a very small studio made up of developers residing in the New Caledoniawhich is actually the setting of Tchia.
In the video we can see some elements of gameplayespecially with regards to navigation and underwater exploration in search of treasures and other objects, as well as the management of the boat and its use to open access to new areas to explore.
There seem to be strong reminiscences from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in all of this, from the use of the boat to the general action, including that sort of Deku paravela / leaf that the protagonist of this new game also uses.
Tchia was announced with a trailer at the PlayStation Showcase last September and is very interesting as a project strongly linked to the desire to promote the geographical area in which it is set, namely New Caledonia. To find out more, we refer you to our preview on Tchia.
