WhatsApp developers have begun warning users of older iPhone models that the messenger will soon stop working on devices running iOS 10 and iOS 11.
According to WABetaInfo, the company has notified iPhone users with iOS 10 or iOS 11 that they need to update their smartphones in order to continue using WhatsApp after October 24th.
Unfortunately, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c owners will have to replace their phone or stop using this messenger as they stopped receiving software updates after iOS 11.
WhatsApp will likely end support for the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6s with iOS 12 next year.
