Yes, in “Yandex”, MTS, Ozone, Sberbank and Russian Post assured that they do not make personnel decisions based on the nationality of employees. Also, representatives of these tech giants did not say whether they were aware of layoffs or discrimination against Ukrainian IT specialists in Russia. But in VK, GroupIB, “Kaspersky Lab”, Rostelecom, Wildberries and Softline did not respond to a reporter’s request.

It should be noted that the Russians submitted more than 50 thousand applications for training in IT specialties at the State Services within the framework of the Digital Professions project. Earlier it became known that IT specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language began to be in great demand since the beginning of this year. The demand for such specialists in January-April amounted to 15% yoy.
