When they couldn’t think of anything better.
Blizzard continues to go out of its way to pretend to support World of Warcraft. Today the company is in the official news feed of its MMORPG published material morally preparing users for the update of version 9.2.5, scheduled for release on June 1.
The main innovation is the ability to unite in groups with players from the opposing faction. In other words, starting June 1st, players will stop discussing which faction is “neighboring” with another, and instead will be able to join forces for the common good. Members of the Alliance and the Horde will be able to go on raids together, complete tasks and just participate in friendly gatherings. In the guild, however, it will be possible to accept only members of one faction – in this regard, the update does not change anything.
Both modern and old content of any levels will be available for joint inter-factional playthrough. Naturally, there will be exceptions to the new rule, namely, content elements where the rules prohibit cross-faction passage in principle.
