The catalog of classics by Nintendo Switch Online has expanded today by welcoming tre new games for NES and SNESnow available to all subscribers to the great N service. Specifically, the three new additions are: Cogo’s Caper (SNES), Pinball (NES) and Rival Turf (SNES).
Pinball was launched in 1984 together with the NES in the West and is the classic arcade version of the Mario themed pinball machine, with the mustachioed plumber who will have to save Pauline during the bonus stages.
Rival Turf is a side scrolling brawler released in 1992 for SNES in which players take on the role of Jack Flack and Oswald “Oozie” Nelson and have to blame the members of the Stret Kings gang to save the former’s girlfriend.
In the end, Congo’s Caper is a 2D platformer that arrived in the West in 1993. As Congo, a half ape half human boy, we will have to make our way through over 30 levels, between jungles, pirate ships and a volcano, to save his girlfriend, kidnapped by a demon. Apparently rescuing girls in distress is a recurring theme for all three games.
