In a Q&A press conference Sony confirms that several series based on game franchises are planned. These are TV series for “God of War”, “Horizon” and “Gran Turismo”, which like the “Uncharted” film with the participation of SonyPicturesEntertainment develop.
Planned release dates have not yet been announced. It can be assumed that the series is still in a very early phase of development and therefore may not appear for several years. While the “Horizon” series on Netflix will run, the “God of War” series was for Amazon Prime Video approved. For “Gran Turismo” has Sony one Report from deadline according to District 9, Chappie and Elysium director Neill Blomkamp.
The series comes on top of previously announced The Last of Us, Twisted Metal and Ghost of Tsushima projects Sony added. There are also other unannounced projects in the works, which were named in May last year 10 film projects.
