Players have been complaining massively about the bot problem in TF2 for several years now. Bots interfere with the gameplay on the maps using cheats for aiming, threaten security and insult ordinary players by spamming in the chat.
Previously, Valve has already released several patches aimed at combating bots, but to no avail. In December 2021, a former TF2 developer suggested that Valve sell the shooter to a team that would “give the game time, love and attention”
