MMO action Dauntless players will finally be able to complete their Radiant Packs with the release of the season’s latest update, Return to the Light. Patch 1.10.3 introduces the new Shining Ascension encounter, in which the shape-shifting monster Chronovor awaits in the final arena. The new ascension will also be the first to feature a puzzle mechanic that will provide players with a much-needed extra edge as they take on Chronovor.
In addition to the usual mods, buffs, talents, rewards, and more that players can look forward to, this ascension adds a new mystery feature – each of the first four rounds will have a hidden symbol to be found and remembered later in the game. Players must enter the correct sequence of symbols into a set of spinning pillars – correct input will grant an additional booster choice before entering the final arena.
The update will also add a new winged monster called Alira. Alira’s ability to alter her radiant power grants her access to a wide range of elemental attacks, ranging from breathing fire and summoning icy winds to generating shockwaves and creating poisonous zones.
