As you know, Samsung is preparing a new top-end mobile processor series Exynos. A new report has revealed the internal codename of the upcoming flagship chipset as well as the model number.
According to well-known insider Roland Quandt, the new flagship SoC Exynos SAMSUNG S5E9935 South Korean tech giant was codenamed Quadra. This chipset will apparently be the successor to the Exynos 2200, codenamed Pamir, that came with the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. In other words, Quadra can officially be called Exynos 2300although its exact specifications and improvements over its predecessor are currently unknown.
The new chipset will be based on 3nm GAA manufacturing process and will be equipped with the latest ARM processor cores. It is reported that it will even be built on an updated GPU Xclipsewhich is based on the latest AMD Radeon GPU.
Mass production of this chipset could start later this year, which basically corresponds to the launch of the company’s next flagship Exynos chip. Interestingly, there are also rumors that Samsung may not be using Exynos chips for its flagship Galaxy S series of flagship smartphones for the next two years.
The reason for this shift appears to be due to throttling issues and sluggish performance compared to its rival Qualcomm and its chips. snapdragon.
