Independent developer Zhardar Solli released the debut trailer Seablip – pixel role-playing game about pirates in the open world. The author himself wrote that he was inspired to create the title by Stardew Valley and Faster Than Light.
Synopsis:
You have inherited a small ship from your foster parents and live on an island called Seablip. Meet a variety of island residents, make new friendships and help the island return to its former glory! Go to the open sea. Upgrade your ship and hire new crew members to help in combat and travel longer around the map.
Dig treasures, find unique fish in different biomes of the island. Participate in traditional Seablip village events or investigate why the ice in the north is melting and sending dangerous icebergs further and further south. Could there be an even greater threat lurking under the ice?
Above Seablip Zhardar works alone, except that Danish composer Christian Balwig writes the music for the game. The title does not have a clear release date. Steam indicated that the release will take place in the fall of 2023.
