Well-known Final Fantasy veteran Shinji Hashimoto has announced the end of his active development career.
Shinji Hashimoto, noted Final Fantasy veteran, Kingdom Hearts co-creator, and longtime Executive at Square Enix, has via Twitter announced the end of his career.
In his message he thanks his companions and fans who have accompanied him throughout his long career and assures that he will remain a Square Enix fan.
Hashimoto has worked as a producer on various well-known video games since 1989. He gained worldwide fame among video game fans for his leading role in the brands Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.
For Square Enix, the now 64-year-old has held various positions, including game producer, Final Fantasy Series brand manager, executive officer and head of Business Division 3.
