The upcoming film from Warner Bros. The Flash, starring the naughty Ezra Miller, was a hit with viewers in test screenings, according to Western media.
Nearly eight years since its announcement, Andy Muschietti’s film is finally entering the homestretch with a release date of June 23, 2023. The plot will tell about how Barry “Flash” Allen goes back in time to save his mother Nora from death. However, as is usually the case in movie comics (hello, Spider-Man: No Way Home), everything goes awry and the hero ends up in the DC multiverse, in one of which, in particular, Michael Keaton’s Batman meets a venerable old age.
The Flash was originally supposed to hit theaters this November, but the WB had to delay its release until June 2023. The film was “extremely well received” in test screenings, according to Variety, although no further details were given on early audience reactions.
