The Developer Day event on June 9, 2022 gave us a sneak peek at Two Star Games’ game, Choo-Choo Charles. Release date – 2022, on PC (Steam).
Choo-Choo Charles is an open world horror game in which we’ll have to fight against a monstrous spider train named Charles. We have a regular train on our side, which we can upgrade by mining materials on the island that serves as the setting.
The ultimate goal of the protagonist is to challenge Charles to a one-on-one duel and destroy him forever. To do this, you will have to explore the island, get to know the locals and complete tasks on their behalf. Train upgrades will be related to stamina, speed and firepower. We will have weapons such as a flamethrower and a machine gun at our disposal.
However, we will not always be able to stay on top of our train that protects us from Charles: sometimes we will have to fully explore the interior areas of the map. In these places, you will have to defend not only from the monstrous train, but also from the cultists, armed with shotguns, who are looking for a victim to feed to this terrible version of Thomas the Tank Engine.
