It is reported that the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Fund has gained about 8% of the holding’s shares Embracer Group for 1 billion dollars.
Recall that in the Embracer Group directory: Saints Row, Dead Island, Darksiders, Metro, Insurgency, World War Z, Borderlands, Goat Simulator, Kingdoms of Amalur and other franchises.
Apparently, the deal goes through a subsidiary Savvy Gaming Group, which recently became the owner of the tournament operator ESL and platforms FACEIT.
Previously The Saudi Arabian Sovereign Fund also has gained about 5% of shares nintendo – without disclosing the amount of the transaction.
