Legendary Entertainment has bought the film rights to the Duke Nukem games, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project will be produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who worked on Cobra Kai.
The project is at a very early stage. According to sources of the publication, the film adaptation has neither a director nor a screenwriter, and the search is underway.
The Hollywood Reporter admits that one of the producers will eventually direct the film.
There is no word on when the film will be released. If successful, the Legendary project will be the first film adaptation of Duke Nukem.
