This week in the multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2042, the first season of “Zero Hour” kicked off, along with a new map, operator, weapons and other innovations. On this occasion, thousands of players decided to return to the game and see in more detail what the development team from DICE has prepared for more than 6 months from the release.
According to the data SteamDB, at the time of writing, the online shooter has grown to nearly 15,000 concurrent players. There has been no such indicator since the beginning of January 2022. However, this is only a small part of the players who decided to return to the game, because at the start there was an online peak of more than 100 thousand.
It’s also worth noting that despite this increase in players in Battlefield 2042, the previous part, Battlefield V, still boasts more online.
