The Hollywood Reporter talked about a new attempt to adapt the Duke Nukem game series from 3D Realms (then Apogee Software) for the big screens.
Paramount was never able to release the John Cena film, so now Legandary, behind Dune and Monster Universe, has taken over the business and bought the rights from Gearbox. The project will be led by Josh Heald, John Harwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the authors of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai. They will definitely act as producers, but they can also take the director’s chair.
A screenwriter for the film adaptation of not the most tolerant shooters from the 90s has not yet been found.
