The Fridge is Red is a first-person psychological horror game featuring a distinctive low-fi 3D graphical aesthetic somewhat reminiscent of 32-bit 3D graphics that was announced and featured in a trailer during the Guerrilla Collective.
Developers 5WORD Team and publisher tinyBuild are calling the game a “horror anthology” that is already available in demo on Steam at Steam Next Fest. In the story, the main character Frank is looking for his mysteriously missing daughter.
Notes left in the basement of the house point to a red refrigerator in the basement, a mysterious item that appears to have something to do with the girl’s disappearance. Frank has to collect and piece together scattered and strange clues, but he can’t take his eyes off the strange red refrigerator.
It appears to be the first installment in a horror anthology that promises some truly unsettling moments, enhanced somewhat by the low-poly graphics style adopted by the developers for this strange project. Let’s find out with the trailer released by Guerrilla Collective.
