Company Wargaming will open two new offices in Belgrade and Warsaw. They will employ about 400 people, reported on the company’s website.
The Warsaw division will publish games, while the Belgrade division will continue to support World of Tanks and World of Warships. At the same time, the staff in Warsaw will be small, and the work will be built in a hybrid format: some of the employees will remain in the office, and some will work remotely. And in Belgrade, the staff will be formed by both new developers and employees from foreign offices of Wargaming.
In addition, Wargaming CEO Viktor Kisly spoke about the Wargaming Forge internship program designed for students, graduates and local professionals.
“Warsaw and Belgrade were the logical choices for these new locations. Both are fast growing technology sectors with huge potential. We look forward to working closely with the IT communities in both cities to build best-in-class game development and publishing businesses.”
