Fan-favorite Wrath of the Lich King is coming soon to World of Warcraft Classic. As part of this, the game will open the Clean Slate servers for players who have not yet decided to return. These worlds will be designed for those who want to start the game with a completely new character and find themselves among their own kind.
The main differences between these servers will be related to the limitation of character leveling:
For at least 90 days, you will not be allowed to use the accelerated experience gain. For at least 90 days, other characters cannot be transferred to the servers. You cannot create a Death Knight class character without having another level 55 character on the same server.
All WoW Classic and Burning Crusade content will be available on these realms, with Northrend locked on all servers until the release of Wrath of the Lich King.
Blizzard writes:
Ultimately, we hope that as Wrath of the Lich King Classic approaches, players will be spread across all available realms. We expect that by starting from scratch, players will be able to maintain a balance between factions for a long time. We hope that the desire and presence of players on such servers will help others to decide on this.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
