If you have already read the review of the Italian tank destroyer branch, then you know that from level 7, vehicles get magazine loading system for projectiles. However, not everything is so simple here, the principle of operation is significantly different from the classic “drums” we are used to, and the gameplay is more like a cyclic gun.
Unlike self-propelled guns of other nations, this vehicle can boast of a fast magazine reload and at the same time, the potential for dealing significant one-time damage is not limited by a long cooldown inside the drum.
At the announcement of the branch, this car had the name Controcarro mod. 67apparently decided to change in the process.

As you can see, the SMV CC-67 has two guns to choose from:
- 120 mm – has higher one-time damage and armor penetration, but is significantly inferior in accuracy and reload time. Superior projectile – cumulative.
- 105 mm – more stable in terms of damage, but it looks fresh and the car does not really stand out with it. Premium projectile – subcaliber.
Both guns have a 3-round loading drum, most likely the 105mm will be the pre-top one in the upgrade tree.
The margin of safety is small as for an assault tank destroyer, so once again climbing on the rampage at the beginning of the battle is not worth it. In general, it should be noted strong frontal armor – 260 mm with the minimum size of the commander’s cupola, they deserve respect. If you hide the NLD, then in a positional firefight, the SMV CC-67 will set the heat for opponents.
At the same time, she has quite sane mobility, which will allow her to work from an average distance at the beginning of the battle, and then move to the front line (in case of a successful battle) or roll back to protect the base.
Nevertheless, the specific power and maneuverability are closer to “mediocrity”, we’ll look at the soil resistance later, but it’s already clear that you shouldn’t expect high speeds and you need to be prepared for the fact that any mobile ST can spin it.
A notable disadvantage is viewing radius – 350 meters. Therefore, it is worthwhile to push the direction carefully, the probability of being the first to detect the enemy is minimal. The communication range is also extremely low at 525 meters, but most likely it will be further increased by the time of release.
