The incredible interest aroused by the launch of Fall Guys for free is causing serious problems for the Epic Games Store servers: the Epic digital store, in fact, cannot manage the amount of requests and returns a message on the screen that signals the impossibility of download the game for ‘high traffic’.
Although the Epic Store site is fully operational and does not present any slowdown whatsoever on the web browser or through the appropriate Launcher, once on the Fall Guys page those who want to redeem the sparkling Mediatonic party game for zero euros are welcomed by a message where Epic reports that “we are experiencing a high transaction volumetry later”.
Trying to click on the “Place Order” button needed to enter the title in your playroom, the Epic Store page temporarily blocks and, upon restart, repeats the warning about traffic congestion on the site and bounces the user to the same screenshot above. In some cases, the order is finalized but the game, although marked as “in the Library”, does not appear in the list of titles associated with your Epic account.
Our advice, therefore, can only be to wait for the official Epic Games support to communicate the timing required to solve this problem that is affecting the PC version of Fall Guys now removed from Steam.
