Aspyr recently released Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 for the Nintendo Switch. But the joy did not last very long for many fans, because a very serious bug is currently throwing a huge spanner in the works. The frustration of the players is correspondingly large.
Which bug is it?
As some players noted shortly after release, there is one in the Switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 “Game Breaking Bug”. This occurs during a cutscene that plays once you reach the planet Onderon during the campaign. The bow lets crash the game completely and prevents further play. Whoever is affected by this error is inevitably stuck at about half of the campaign, which is logically not only annoying, but extremely frustrating is.
What do the developers say about the bug?
At first there was no reaction whatsoever by Studio Aspyr. However, a follower recently brought up the subject again on Twitter and shortly afterwards received an official answer. Accordingly, the team of the bug in the switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 aware and working on a solution of the problem.
“Yes, we are aware. The development team is working to release the patch as soon as possible. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
Unfortunately, Aspyr’s tweet doesn’t say exactly what the cause of the bug is. one too specific release date for the urgently needed update to the switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 is not yet known. The fans therefore have no choice but themselves continue to exercise patience and persevere.
