In December 2021, developer Frostburn Studios announced the end of support and server shutdown for the once-popular free-to-play MOBA Heroes of Newerth on June 20, 2022. And now that day has come.
The development team would like to thank all the fans for their support over the years.
Although the journey of HoN or Heroes of Newerth has come to an end, we believe that all the precious memories of our players throughout all these years will never disappear.

Heroes of Newerth was released in 2010 by S2 Games, which eventually shut down in 2018. In terms of gameplay, the game resembled DOTA and featured over 130 playable characters.
