Tyler ‘Ninja‘Blevins, one of the streamers Twitch most followed in the world, gave a valuable advice to all those who want to start this career: avoid jumping immediately into the most popular games, such as Fortnite, and aim for the smaller ones instead.
Ninja is one of the most followed streamers in the world
There career as a streamer it is highly coveted by many, especially by the youngest, who, however, end up committing all, or almost all, the same starting error: immediately throwing themselves into the most popular games, those practiced by the various Ninja, xQc, Pokimane and others, such as Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone.
The problem, according to Ninja, is that this way you end up submerged in the games page, especially for titles involving the most famous names. So: “Except if you are the best player of a given title, when you start streaming and are trying to build a brand from scratch, it is important to start with smaller games that have a closer community.”
For many it will be too simple, almost banal advice. However, given how many people make the mistake indicated by Ninja, it is evidently less than one thinks. Of course, anyone can play whatever they want in streaming, but if you want to try to grow, it’s right to try to strategize.
