Naoki Yoshida has revealed many details about Final Fantasy 16 in the course of a series of interviews published in these hours by the main international newspapers. Between the lines, we also discover that the game will be dubbed in various languages.
Square Enix producer confirms that the game is fully playable from start to finishhowever, there is still some work to be done with regards to cleaning and balancing, but not just because there are apparently still a lot of voiceovers to finish and apparently even to start.
In particular, it is the interview published on PlayStation Blog to confirm the presence of dubbing in various languages: “we have a lot of voiceover in several languages that still need to be recorded.“
But what are these languages? Impossible to say at the moment since Yoshida spoke generically of “several languages“ without specifying anything else, it is therefore difficult to unbalance. In all likelihood, the dubbing in English is already finished or nearing completion while it remains to understand what Square Enix plans are for the support of languages other than English, the hope of course is that the texts in Italian are present, while the translation complete in our language seems less likely.
We will probably find out in the coming months, Final Fantasy 16 is expected in the summer of 2023 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
