Wargaming reported about the next restrictions for Russian and CIS players, which this time concern World of Warplanes. The creators of the title announced that on December 13, 2022 they will turn off the CIS server.
At the same time, the developers noted that players will be able to transfer their in-game account to a European server and continue playing there. More details are promised in the future.
In addition, since June 15, Russian and CIS players have been disconnected from the in-game premium store World of Warplanes. The same applies to purchases on Steam.
Until the final shutdown of the CIS game server, users will be able to continue using the in-game values common to other Wargaming titles (game gold, game premium account, free experience) at their discretion, and also play without additional restrictions.
The studio did not name the reason for shutting down the CIS server.
