The recent trailer for Final Fantasy 16, shown at the last State of Play, was actually ready since last March. However, it seems that the producer has decided to postpone it for a few months due to the difficult situation in Ukraine.
To declare it to the microphones of Dengeki Online was Naoki Yoshida. In fact, you will remember that for some time we have been talking about a trailer now ready for Final Fantasy 16 and the recent words of the producer have only confirmed the rumors of a few months ago.
Here are Yoshida’s statements:
“Actually the trailer was already ready for release last March, but at that time the invasion of Russia in Ukraine made the world balance unstable. Since Final Fantasy XVI is about quite serious themes, I wondered if the debut of the trailer could actually allow players to enjoy it at a similar time. When I expressed my concerns to Sony, the company confirmed them and we therefore decided to postpone the trailer following a discussion. ”
In short, the developer wanted to wait so that players from all over the world could enjoy the movie of the role-playing game from the action-oriented combat system with the right atmosphere (or almost).
Did you know that Yoshida’s realistic graphics and turn-based combat are not suitable for FF16?
