Today, the Overwatch 2 developers talked about the changes that will be in the second phase of the game’s beta testing. The main goal of the second stage is to determine the load and performance of servers by conducting mass testing for all platforms for the first time in Overwatch 2.
In the “Onslaught” mode, another 2 minutes were added to the time. The duration of the match will increase from 8 to 10 minutes, and both teams will have a little more time to bring TS-1 to the end. Partial implementation of the rules of competitive play: teams will be able to play on full versions of the battlegrounds, but if one of the players leaves the game, a new member will be able to join the battle. New passive ability of the heroes “Damage” – after switching to another fighter hero, you will retain up to 30% of the charge of the ultimate.
The developers are currently thinking, designing and testing new abilities for existing support heroes: for example, in the update that will be released during this beta testing, significant changes are planned for Moira.
We remind you that testing will begin next week – June 28th.
