“Rune Factory 5” has been available exclusively for Switch since the end of March and has already found its buyers on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Now the entertaining mixture of role-playing game and life simulation has also been announced for the PC.
Xseed Games announces that “Rune Factory 5” will also be released for the PC on July 13th. Pre-orders are already possible and we will also see a trailer for the porting.
In “Rune Factory 5” players choose one of the characters Alice or Ares as their main character, with whom they embark on an adventure from the town of Rigbarth. Your mission: Recover lost memories as a ranger of the peacekeeping unit SEED. Along the way, explore sprawling dungeons, defeat dangerous monsters, till nearby farmlands, and build friendships with other characters to find true happiness and peace in Rigbarth.
Fans and newcomers alike will experience an improved action RPG combat system and master the use of eight different weapons including double blades, spears and axes. Of course, iconic features such as farm management, city quests and local festivals should not be missing. For the first time in the series, same-sex relationships are also possible, allowing players to create their own romance. It doesn’t matter whether the town needs to be protected from a monster attack, the locals need help with their problems, or players need to use their green fingers.
