Analysts at DigiTimes Research predict that the global all-in-one (AIO) desktop market will show negative quarterly dynamics in the second quarter of this year.

During Computex 2022, MSI announced new Modern All-in-Ones with 12th Gen Intel Core processor, 23.8″ and 27″ displays. The computers are running the Windows 11 operating system. And in mid-May, Acer introduced the “environmentally friendly” Vero AIO desktops, which use recycled plastic in their design.

However, analysts believe that despite the emergence of new models, the supply of monoblocks in the current quarter will be reduced by 6.8% compared to the first quarter of the year. From January to March, inclusive, there was a drop in shipments of more than 8% on a quarterly basis.
Experts attribute the decline in sales in the first months of 2022 to the shortage of components, the current geopolitical situation and high inflation. In the second quarter, the market was negatively affected by restrictions in China caused by the ongoing pandemic.
