“This is a completely different level of Counter-Strike and understanding of the game. They are a level above everyone else I have played against or with. It was difficult to adapt, I still do it.
I have many new roles. The most difficult thing was to catch up with the guys in terms of understanding the game. It is at the moment of the middle or end of the round. I studied scripts and roles – I forgot some things, but they always helped me, I didn’t have such big problems with this as with mid-calls.
At first, I had to catch up with the guys, adapt to them. In general, I played roughly catching up. I tried to focus on my tasks. Thanks to this, I was able to play an important moment correctly, because I played the way I needed to. At critical moments, it worked.
I’m still on probation. To be honest, I don’t even know myself [что будет дальше]. I look at it from the side that I need to play well [на IEM Cologne], better than at the last tournament, first of all individually. Winning a tournament is one thing, but playing almost perfectly is another.
I understand that I need to play well in the next tournament, and then I will have a good chance to stay. I hope so,” Sdy explained in a podcast on Mikhail “Olsior” Zverev’s channel.
Previously, Sdy won the BLAST Premier Spring Finals as part of NAVI. In the final, the Ukrainian club defeated Faze with a score of 2-0.
