The updated PlayStation Plus subscription, divided into three levels and giving access to an extensive library of games, has earned in Europe (but not in Russia). To coincide with its launch, Sony released the short film Mr. Malcolm.
The video turned out to be quite scary. The protagonist, a handsome old man, has a secret: in the evenings he goes down to a huge basement filled with a mass of artifacts and feeds someone with fresh meat.
The Hero’s Home, explains Sony, represents a world filled with gaming experiences (and platinum trophies). The company needed more than 1,270 props to create the short.
According to Sony, there are more than ten references to various games available on the PlayStation hidden in the video. Most of it is fairly easy to spot: the references are shown close-up.
Only the basic plan of the new PlayStation Plus is now available in the Russian PlayStation Store. It is impossible to subscribe to expensive versions that give access to a large library of games.
