THE Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the presentation date of its next premium smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which will debut the partnership with the Leica sporting new cameras and the coveted insignia of the German brand on its back. However, a new report now gives us encouragement for a presentation soon not only of this mobile phone, but also of the rival ASUS ROG Phone 6.
The new Xiaomi phone can thus officially arrive on July 5th and, on that same day, we can also get to know the next gaming smartphone from ASUS. Note that the products will not be presented at the same event or location, but can effectively arrive on the same day.

It is important to emphasize that these possibilities have now been advanced by the publication TechGoing, pointing out the agreement of dates for the presentation of Xiaomi and ASUS products. In this way, we can get to know a new mobile phone for photography, dedicated to the premium segment, as well as the ASUS ROG Phone 6 range, designed especially for games.
It will all be a mere coincidence with Lei Jun’s company unveiling its premium smartphone on the same day that Taiwanese technology unveils the next generation of gaming smartphones. However, for technology fans, the day promises to be full of surprises, in case it is (the 5th), the date of the presentation.

We remind you that both the Xiaomi 12 Ultra and the ROG Phone 6, possibly in their Pro version, should use the same Qualcomm processor. Namely, the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as a high-end chipset for the best possible performance on both mobile devices.

Meanwhile, the technical characteristics of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra continue to be disseminated on social media. Note, however, that this information is not official, even if it is plausible. We will thus have a strong focus on cameras, as well as the use of the Surge C2 chipset to assist in image processing.
Finally, the price of both should be above 1000 euros, thus reaching the “ultra premium” segment in 2022.
