Google has announced Enhanced Safe Browsing in Chrome browser for iPhone and iPad. The innovation will provide a higher degree of protection for users from phishing, malware and other web threats.
Enhanced Safe Browsing works automatically in the background. It protects the user from dangerous sites, extensions and downloads faster and more effectively. The feature first appeared in Chrome for PC and Android in the summer of 2021.
With the release of the update, Chrome will warn iOS users if the username and login entered in the browser have been compromised as a result of a data breach by a third party. Along with this, Chrome can also be installed as an autofill tool for logins and passwords on iPhone and iPad.
In addition, Google will make a number of other improvements to the interface, including a button to clear browsing data, open tabs in incognito mode, or set Chrome as the default browser.
The developers promise to add all these innovations in the next Chrome update for iPhone and iPad.
