Thrilling tournaments in the new multiplayer fun for Nintendo Switch will take place in seven Swiss Pathé cinemas this summer

In this game (almost) everything is allowed, because the rules are kicked out right at the beginning. In “Mario Strikers: Battle League Football” two teams, each with up to four players, deliver a turbulent hunt for goals. The football-like sport is made for exciting tournaments – and great cinema. Together with the Pathé cinemasPhilips and Exploria we organize with Nintendo seven tournaments at the seven Pathé locations in Switzerland.
Participation is worthwhile because there are prizes from Philips, Pathé, WOG.chGAMES.CH and Sunrise.
The tournaments take place on Saturdays and Sundays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Pathé cinema in Spreitenbach will kick off on July 16th. It follows that Pathé Dietlikon on July 17ththe Pathé Westside in Bern on July 30ththe Pathé Küchlin in Basel on July 31stthe Pathé Flon in Lausanne on August 6ththe Pathé Balexert in Geneva on August 7th and the Pathé Mall Of Switzerland near Lucerne on August 13th.
Two teams of four play against each other in four-minute games in single game mode. Participants can now register for one of the competitions in teams of four or individually on the GAMES.CH website. For each tournament, 16 teams – i.e. 64 participants – are admitted, whereby family, friends and acquaintances can be there as spectators at the event. All matches will be played on the big cinema screen.
At each tournament, the winning team waving a 24-inch Philips gaming monitor (24M1N3200VA/00) worth CHF 299.-, four Philips headsets worth CHF 59 each and four sponsored by Sunrise GAMES.CH plus access for three months. The runners-up and their friends are allowed to enter the offer Pathe Personal Cinema worth CHF 299 and get a private cinema for two hours – to play, watch and have fun. On top of that, they also win four GAMES.CH plus accounts sponsored by Sunrise for three months. All members of the team that takes third place will each receive one Pathé cinema voucher worth CHF 30.- and GAMES.CH plus access sponsored by Sunrise. But all other tournament participants still have a chance of winning: World of Games is giving away one prize at each of the seven events among all tournament participants Goodie Bag and a voucher worth CHF 50.-.
