It’s been about a week since the release of the first major “Celestial Throne” update for the VR MMORPG Zenith: The Last City, and on this occasion, the developer Ramen VR decided to make a small announcement regarding the success of the game and future plans for it.
The game has fantastic results. Since the launch of the last update, peak online numbers have roughly doubled and are maintained at a much higher level than before. We also know that people have begun to spend an average of 15-20% more time in the game. In addition, the number of new users per day doubled compared to before the launch of the update, and our game was able to climb 8 places in the sales charts.
But the latest update also brought some gameplay changes that some fans are unhappy with. One of these is the removal of an exploit that allowed players to slide almost endlessly. The developers explained this change by saying that it is necessary for the future development of the game, and they will not allow this exploit to remain due to a few dissatisfied.
However, as a compromise, Ramen VR increased the maximum glide speed along with the takeoff speed. In addition, the stamina cost of sliding and jumping has been reduced by 20%. The development team is also considering adding a limited flight feature in the future.
