Modders have ported several hundred systems from Mass Effect games and iconic objects to Stellaris. For example, star systems in Beyond the Relays are connected using relays.
Large stations like Citadel and Omega have also been recreated in the modification. In addition, Beyond the Relays features ships borrowed from the Mass Effect universe, signature events, resources, and anomalies.
Beyond the Relays is playable in both Free Roam and Canon Mode, which recreates the political setting of the Mass Effect universe at the time of the events of the original trilogy.
