One of the developers of the Overwatch team spoke about the new passive ability that the heroes of the “Damage” role will receive with the release of Overwatch 2.
A new passive allows you to save up to 30% of your super charge when switching to another fighter hero. However, this 30% will have a different value depending on the cost of each hero’s ult.
For example, 30% of Tracer’s Pulse Bomb is 378 HP. charge from 1260. If you played Tracer and then switched to Reaper, then save 378 units, but it will only be 18% of Reaper’s ult (his ult costs 2100 u).
If you had 60% Pulse Bomb charge (i.e. 756 out of 1260), then when you change the hero, you will transfer the maximum number of ult charges, which will correspond to 30% of the ult of the new hero. So out of 756 units, only 630 units will be transferred, because this is 30% of the Reaper’s ult.
We remind you that the release of Overwatch 2 will take place on October 4 for all current platforms.
