It has been a long time since the last update provided by Niantic on the cheating issue, a phenomenon that unfortunately also affects Pokémon GO. The development team, in any case, has not been idle, and has announced the arrival of new measures to counter the work of the cheaters.
Since 2021, Niantic has invested in new technologies designed for identify incorrect behavior more accurately and quickly of cheatersin order to prevent the correct players from being wrongly punished. The rollout of the new systems has already begun in all the video games of the house, including Pokémon GO, in which all players caught cheating during the latest in-game events will be punished. For the future, Niantic also plans to take action continuously and more consistently, rather than in waves as has happened to date. Usually the bans have always affected large groups of gamers at more or less long intervals of time, in the future they should be carried out constantly and without pauses.
While waiting to discover the effects of this new cheating system on the game’s ecosystem in augmented reality, we take the opportunity to inform you that Ultra Beasts are coming to Pokémon GO!
