Skull & Bones, pirates only on next-gen: also suspected by the ESRB rating

While the rumors about a second reveal of Skull & Bones set by Ubisoft for the month of July intensify, the pirate adventure is the protagonist of a new sighting.

After the classification of Skull & Bones in South Korea, the title has in fact also made its appearance in the database of theESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board). The North American body has made public a fact sheet dedicated to Skull & Bones, from which the cancellation of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game seems to emerge once again. Exactly as happened for the Brazilian classification, also in this case Skull & Bones it is described with an expected version title PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PC and Google Stadia.

When assigning a classification “Mature“, the ESRB describes the maritime adventure of Ubisoft as suitable for an audience of gamers over the age of 17, due to the presence of violent content and references to topics such as drug use or prostitution. Again according to the database of the classification body, Skull & Bones it would also support a microtransactions, with in-game purchases. I also emphasize the presence of violent scenessuch as beaches covered with corpses at the end of naval battles or sailors hanged or impaled.
