A little at a time there Gamescom 2022 begins to take shape. If it is true that great giants of industry such as Sony, Nintendo, Activision And Take-Two have already confirmed that they will not take part in the event, others still like Ubisoft have officially announced their participation in the kermesse of Colony.
Among these there will also be THQ Nordic, which intends to animate the five days of the fair (which will take place from 24 August to the following 28 August 2022) with different games, including some that have not yet been officially revealed. According to what was revealed by Florian EmmerichPR head of THQ Nordic, during an interview with the German portal GamesWirtschaftthe company expects the presence of “thousands of players“at the event and, for this reason, he wants to do things big.
“We will be showing nine games in a space of about one thousand square meters, and four of them have never been announced yet“, reveals Emmerich, who adds:”As every year, our goal is to highlight the new games coming this and next year in the eyes of players“In any case, it is highly probable that the titles to which it refers will be announced during the THQ Nordic Showcase on 12 August 2022, with more in-depth information at Gamescom.
That one of the titles still never shown could be the alleged Darksiders 4 in development? At the end of 2021 a mysterious artwork spread on the net had given way to speculations on the existence of the project, but so far never officially announced by THQ Nordic. If it really exists, it cannot be ruled out that next August, between Showcase and Gamescom, could be the right time to reveal it.
