The new Need for Speed with the addition of Unblound could be revealed in July.
Electronic Arts is expected to introduce new games in July. After not having its own EA Play event in the E3 month of June, there will now be revelations and announcements in the coming month.
As Tom Henderson writes in an article, the latest part of the Need for Speed series should also be announced.
There have been a few rumors about the new Need for Speed in recent months. For example, the rumor about anime elements or that the game could only be released for the current Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 consoles in addition to the PC.
Speaking about the anime rumors, Henderson added that the “character design is similar to that of the television series The Boondocks, which aired from 2005 to 2014.”
One of the biggest functions in the game should probably be the “meetings”. Across the map, players can gather together to race each other. Henderson described the routes as unique. There is also a train route in the game. But what role she could play is not known to him.
The new Need for Speed could be launched under the name Need for Speed Unbound. But it’s also possible that Unbound is just a code name and that the racing game will have a completely different name, as Henderson says.
