With the “Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection”, the Japanese publisher Capcom today announced another retro collection based around the blue cult character. It will be released next year for the PlayStation 4, among others.

Today, Japanese publisher Capcom used the current issue of Nintendo Direct to announce another retro collection, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.
This will be released next year for the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch and can also be played on the PlayStation 5 thanks to backwards compatibility support. The “Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection” includes a total of ten selected classics from the series and will be released in 2023 in the form of two episodes.
The “Mega Man Battle Network” series differs slightly from the main series in terms of gameplay and relies on 3×3 grids in combat, over which the players move and select battle chips with which they can unleash attacks. Various graphic filters and exclusive content such as artworks are also part of the game.
