According to the Japanese site Gamer, Square Enix has scheduled a live presentation of The DioField Chronicle on July 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm Italian time.
For the moment we don’t know exactly what will be shown during The DioField Chronicle event. There will be some gameplay, for sure, but we don’t know if we will be able to find out the release date of this game. The event will air on the YouTube channel Wasyagana TV, so it will be in Japanese: maybe Square Enix will release an international trailer immediately after the presentation?
There official description of The DioField Chronicle reads: “A new strategic RPG that tells an epic story of war and honor. The game is set in a unique world that mixes fantasy with medieval and modern day elements and has a real-time combat system. innovative and extremely deep. The DioField Chronicle boasts highly respected names in its own right development team. Character designer Taiki (Lord of Vermillion III and IV), concept artist Isamu Kamikokuryo (Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIII), scenario designer Yuu Ohshima (Fire Emblem: Awakening) and composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Pacific Rim) are all related to the project.
