Publisher Microids and developers from the French studio Eden Games (V-Rally, Test Drive Unlimited) with the support of IMPS submitted racing arcade Smurfs Kart in the spirit of Mario Kart.

As the name suggests, Smurfs Kart will take place in the Smurfs universe. Players will have to take part in “crazy racing”to become the best kart driver in the village.
During the races, you will need to look for shortcuts, use items in time and overtake rivals. They promise unique abilities and a car for each character, as well as the opportunity to play with friends and family.
The announcement of Smurfs Kart was timed to coincide with the recent World Smurfs Day (June 25) and was accompanied by a selection of screenshots (see the gallery above) that will allow you to evaluate the visual style of the project.
The release of Smurfs Kart is expected this coming winter on the Nintendo Switch in digital and retail formats. It’s possible the game will drop by today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.
